PIRATE SHOW - MELBOURNE

Bushwahzee brings their pirate show to schools in Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra, Bendigo, Ballarat, Sale, Geelong, Albury, Warrnambool and Woollongong!

Bushwahzee's Band of Pirates show for schools which opened in Febraury 2011 is a show which combines the fun and mythology of being pirates with the music of 1980s and some old time seafaring dances.

In the morning show the three characters Captain Cutlass, One Eye Lou (First Mate), and Cabin Boy Dyson scare off the bad pirates Hungry Jack and Sunway Sam who have come to steal the gold. Captain Cutlass reveals that they are chasing fool's gold the real gold however is the GOLD MUSIC HITS OF THE EIGHTIES!

The show also deals with the issues good and bad behaviour, step parents and resilience in life. Captain Cutlass tells how he resolved to become a good pirate when he was faced with going down with his boat to "Davey Jones Locker." On becoming a good pirate he sends a message in a bottle to his son Dyson - "I won't let you die son," and is later re-united with his son who turns out to be the Cabin Boy on his boat the Friendship. The Cabin Boy was brought up by step-parents Maurice and Muriel but sings "When I Grow up I Want To Be a Pirate" and at the age of sixteen runs away to sea. He is taught how to be a pirate by the first pirate he meets, One Eyed Lou, who tells him - "If you want to be a pirate you gotta do the hornpipe."
